ESSAY 31 – HOW TO DEFINE JESUS

Jesus is a word that brings joy, love and thrills to the heart of Christians everywhere. It, or He, brings Salvation to the entire World, not only to those in Christendom. He came in human form to earth and returns again in a new form to give all men a last chance at Salvation and Eternity with God as God planned it. We Christians are jealous of Him and want to call Him all ours, but Jesus is for all men. God planned a single Salvation for men. He would that all men be saved and in His great knowledge and understanding He followed His own perfect plan. Jesus would save all men. But to understand God’s plan we must know Jesus, the Christ. He has another name; that name is the “Word”. Jesus is the Word sent by God to all men for their Salvation. So what really is the Word that God sent and sends again? God sent a division of Himself to earth in the form of Christ to illustrate and speak His own unchallengeable words bringing truth and understanding to men so they might have direction, knowledge and peace within themselves with the Incarnate Word. Much preparation and fanfare prepared this world for the understandings that would bless man with the coming of the Truth directly from God.

God loves the entire World. He loves all men that He created and desires their souls to be back with Him in Eternity. Was this segment of the world, which worships the one God, that we call Christian or Jew or Muslim, the only sector to be saved? God’s plan always included all mankind; any soul to which He gave spirit is His child which He loves dearly. Did these souls too have the Word which would make them free? Yes, they all have the Word. This Word promotes love for God and fellow man and motivates man to higher life accomplishments and humanitarian endeavors. Each man receives from God, according to his background and understanding, according to his own culture, the “Word” needed for his personal clarification. Man was taught a progression of love to move man towards his acceptance of a greater power than his own; and he was matured by God to strive for betterment in self and in his loved ones. Whether he expressed his love to the God-head with physical acts of worshiping represented images of God, or self-effacing acts of ego in reaching out to God, the Spirit of God moved within his circle uplifting the spirit and prompting contentment and encouraging love of God and his fellow man.

Through the wisdom of Confucius, the serenity of Buddha, and the stories and myths and examples of the Hindu gods (Krishna), there always runs God’s hand. God has always been there for His loved ones, parenting, and giving direction and teaching love of a higher power and love of fellow man in the finding of the true self. Life succession helped purify and give guidance to the spirit. Jesus is the Word for Western men, but the Word is for all men. The Word of God gives final exposure to God as He is and tells us who we are and why we are born here on earth and how we are to live. We can love and identify with one another irregardless of race, creed, or color. God teaches all and we will all reconcile in Eternity (Heaven). Each and every Soul is precious to God and should be to each of us also.
