Thoughts from a Student of the Orthotext

I have been asked to write an introduction to this site because I have been a student of the growing Orthotext for over 40 years. The concepts were not in this concise a form until 2002 forward. Even in their more abstract form, the ideas and concepts of the Orthotext changed my life.

Much of what is contained herein will not surprise the reader. Ideas regarding the concept of God dwelling within each one of us has been described many times in various ways in different philosophies and religions. The Orthotext makes this concept and others more tangible and more accessible. The Orthotext speaks of many concepts in an old and a new way.

So much of todays world religions focus on dogma and the differences between the philosophies, instead of highlighting the similarities. From the beginning, God has communicated with mankind in a variety of ways, very much fine tuned for each culture. Now there is a global culture with mass communication. The Orthotext is meant for the global culture and is given through the medium of the internet to reach all who have a desire to learn and grow.

For myself, the concepts contained herein filled a large hole in my life. The ability to truly communicate with one’s self and one’s eternal soul provides a guide in all matters; and not only a guide but a friend. Many humans feel the pain of loneliness, the frustration of self-doubt, and the unanswered unhappiness of daily life. The answers to these and other problems lie within ourselves and these essays are a guide to that necessary self-discovery.

My own life story is not important in its details to this discussion, but suffice it to say I am like you or someone you know. I have experienced numerous traumatic events, each one difficult to overcome. However, the blessings I have received are great. Much of who we are is not in spite of the tough challenges we face, but we are who we are because of the challenges we face.

The Orthotext suggests a new way to look at events in our lives, a new way to live our lives, and a new way to get in touch with the power that exists within each and everyone of us.

“Ortho” “text” means “written truth;” I hope you find that to be as valid as I have.

The New Orthotext is given freely to all people. Learn, grow and give glory to God!
