CHAPTER 2, ESSAY 2 – Seeing

Seeing is not necessarily an act of the eye.  We perceive with the mind; we understand with the ear; some of us need sign language to hear and others need the feel of the hand when the eyes are poor and the ears are helpless.  There are many ways of processing the information that God gives us.

Those who have all their faculties still need extra sight to process all that God wants to impart.  They need understanding of the words they read.   They need comprehension and assimilation of what they hear.  They need to recognize the touch of love.  God grants the intuition to accept what He gives.  Man needs to open his mind and enlarge his soul.  Wisdom is waiting for man if he seeks it.  Clear your soul out from prejudice of all kind, and replace it with a prayer for truth.  God answers every prayer for spiritual help.  He that has eyes let him see!
