CHAPTER 3, ESSAY 7 – Predestination

So often men say “What difference does it make what I do as everything is already programmed into life? Why should I worry about exerting myself to be “good” if everything is already preordained?  Why can’t I just let my body enjoy itself if the outcome will be the same?”

God has certainly preordained who He wants to have with Him in eternity.  He has made provision in His master plan to make sure that this occurs.  Before a soul is born, it is ordained to be His.  The course of this human life with all its various human choices has been plotted already.  There are many pathways that it is capable of taking.  It can run a straight race to the goal, or it may take many devious routes to get there.  The results vary according to the path chosen.  This earthly life can be clean cut and joyful, or beset with troubles and fears.  Either way you can reach the goal.

Like a computer you can click on “Go” and everything undergoes an automatic and complicated procedure before it ends up where you want to be.  There are also different procedures that will get you to the same results.  You know what answer you are seeking, its just knowing where and how to get it.  As in life, there are many pathways to the same goal.

With many wrong ”clicks” in your day to day living, you could wander around throughout an entire life time, getting lost in many side roads without finding the end goal for the race that you are running.  If the computer “crashes” or you get unwittingly “lost” in your race, then you must start over on a new quest.  Reincarnation starts you on a new life road at the same level of progress as that of the life in which you previously lived.  All that you have learned in that life is stored, hidden in your Sub C, ready to be accessed in this new life when the same or similar circumstances occur.  Instinctive impellings direct you to certain choices.  Intuition pushes your decisions.  Your Sub C‘s new life is built upon your previous one.  Your new C takes over the task of overseeing your Sub C.  In effect your C is reprogramming it to suit its new lifestyle.  Your most important component, the Super C, remains the same.  It is still programmed to help in any way that it can to get your soul committed to God.  You are preordained to be one of God’s own in Eternity and He is giving you every opportunity to get there.  You repeat lives until you commit yourself to God, or deny His existence totally.  Any growth gained in a previous lifetime, is granted to you in the next.  If in any lifetime you renounce God and totally refuse to accept that He exists in any form, you are nullified. Your Super C is returned to where it can find God.  If you don’t believe that He exists, you no longer exist, you are as nothing.  Your soul is taken from your Sub C and your eternal spirit is recycled as new.

With the new reprogramming of the individual life, all pathways lead to God.  A child must be taught evil.  Even as a small child, the good impelling of your past soul activity guides your childish behavior.  As the child reaches spiritual maturity at the beginning of adolescence, each “choice” he makes overlays what has gone before.  Each choice causes a new road to open up before him; each new path has been preprogrammed by God.  Each path is populated with opportunities for total commitment to the “good way” of life.  Once this occurs there is no longer any chance of spiritual death.  The individual goes about a satisfying life and slips into eternity at an appropriate time.  He enjoys many blessings and miracles while still on earth.  Earth death is just a phase, why worry about the cessation of the body, the only “death” we need be concerned about is the “death” of our immortal soul.  That is forever.

If we are inevitably going to be “saved”, why all this fuss?  We need to be worthy to co-inhabit Eternity with God.  What makes us worthwhile people? Making the right choices according to the Word and examples sent from God to help us do so.

As we live our lives (with Satan’s “help”), we purify our Sub C soul.  We resolve what is “right” and “good” for us individually.  We learn to fend off Satan’s jabs; that we resolve as “evil” and inevitably bad for us.  This builds subconscious power that strengthens our soul.

The “Reason” in our C state is a good help in recognizing the evil about us.  “Choice” sustains that reason.  If we plan to override “evil”, then with the “urge of growth” and our experience moving us, we can know how and where to direct our energies; we know how to recognize the wiles of Satan. We recognize too, our own power over him.  Every time we choose to act according to our good reason, we build power in our Sub C soul.    On his way to commitment, every time a man reasons “good” or “right” about something and “chooses” to act accordingly, he is building power in his Sub C.  Every time he repeats this act, he becomes stronger.  He receives self-satisfaction from his acts; and his will to do more “good” is built.  He likes himself.  Eventually his will is strong enough to give total acceptance to the will of God that lives in him.   This “Will” to totally accept unequivocally, what “good” decrees, is “Commitment”.

Once this happens, all aspects of life become easier.   The path that God is leading you along becomes rewarding and fulfilling.  Put your trust in him as He is goodness personified, and wants only what is good and spiritually enlarging for you.  Physical, Mental and Emotional health are within your grasp.  The closer you are to Him, the more He gives you.  His love for you is boundless.  Give this love back to Him and share His love with everyone around you.  Make no difference between friend and foe, all are worthy of God’s love, let Him love through you.  Here you find true, unblemished happiness.

Be careful of your “will”.  It can also be built with self-righteousness, as well as true righteousness.  The great counterfeiter, Satan, can convince you through the words of others, books, media and your own self-serving Sub C with false logic, and the base emotions of your own ego.  He can start small and try to convince your mind, body, or emotions that they want or need some gratification to make “you” feel good.  Use your reason to check out what is really “good” for you before you make any choices because Satan can give you bogus feed-back in small things that aren’t very bad, but will lead to more bad choices along that line.  With slightly bigger repetitions, each time, this will lead to mind sets in an unhealthy direction.  The “will” to be intolerant, to accept sexual perversion, mental abbreviations and all sorts of misguided ideas can arrive from the use of false logic; which gave promise of some sort of satisfaction or self-righteousness  in the beginning.

Misuse of this power of the will brings on many calamities if allowed to progress.  It can always be reversed, as long as the C is kept open-minded and its logic is unhampered. The trip back is a slow step-by-step process.  First examine yourself for self-interest, and then use open-minded logic to repeatedly reexamine and reevaluate each situation before making decisions of “choice”.  A good and worthy decision is not hard to come by after a few tries.  There is no stigma to true failure.  Pick yourself up and try again.  Just be sure that you don’t use this regressing as an excuse to indulge yourself.  One way to know how to act is to ask yourself what a person you accept as “good” would do in this situation.  This “will” to grow in good is stronger than the “will” to grow in evil, for we have the help of eternal goodness always there with us in out personal Super C.  Satan can be put down, God never can be.  God is eternal; Satan is only a part of time.
