ESSAY 22 – PEMP: Physical, Emotional, and Mental Pain

PEMP (Physical, Emotional, and Mental Pain) is another word for “Satan” – or as it evolved, “The Devil.” This was the original Satan, made by God with Creation.

This was the the part of God that men have problems seeing and accepting as a part of God – a shadow of His image. This is not a clear image of His real love for us as we humans shut our eyes to His totality and see only what we want to see and think. We want to associate God with only pleasure and happiness.

But God created the whole and PEMP is an important part of the whole. God’s earth and His plan for His immortal Angels (us) could not work without this integral part. We need to be guided by a force so we do not wander from the correct path; we need a shepherd’s rod and staff to pull us back and prod us and to direct us straight. Physical, emotional and mental pain (PEMP) experienced by us due to our wrong actions exert the force needed to direct our path correctly. We seek God in prayer when we suffer and need His help to regain our good health, peace of mind and well-being. How could we ever receive instructions in life if everything we did resulted in pleasure?

The pure PEMP of God has been adulterated by men and now the word “Satan” is used to describe other man-made powers such as demons, evil spirits, false man-made gods, Beelzebub; too many masses of beings with demonic origin to mention. Men have tapped into the stream of knowledge and other powers of creation and infused them with evil, all sorts of malice and demonic possessions.

All-knowing God foresaw what would occur in this world and gave us knowledge of how to deal with PEMP in the form of Satan: exorcism, prayer, taking authority over all things in God’s name. We should deal with all satanic issues in the same way. God uses them too, in His way, to teach us, strengthen us and give us understanding and knowledge. We need never fear our hardships and the pain they bring. As time runs out, these hordes will increase and our trials will become worse.

Any man who dies in sin rejecting the existence of God is forever tied to this world until time ends and him with it; he will exist in the demon world of strife, anger, hatred and anxiety; knowing only eternal pain. No wonder the demon spirits and malevolent beings hate mankind so much; for mankind can have what evil beings can never have – eternity in joy with God. Evil will try to derail and destroy us so we would also die to immortality. The evil beings rend their anger, desperation and agony upon each and every one of us to the best of their ability. Pity them and cast them out. Use PEMP to question ourselves for growth and understanding. Step over their shadow efforts and move onward to Christ and eternity. God will provide you with his perfect power.

PEMP therefore is a “temporal dual entity,” part God-made and part man-made. Although God did not create it as it is today, He made provision for it so we can go to Him for solace, love, peace and confidence in His eternal goodness.
